Heads up! Cambodian Buyers and Professionals Across Multiple Sectors to Attend CABE 2025!
In a dedicated outreach effort from October 2-6, 2025, the Organizing Committee of China (Guangxi)-ASEAN International Building Products and Machinery Expo (CABE) visited Cambodia and extended an invitation to local buyers and trade visitors from key government agencies, industry associations, and enterprises. As representatives of the Cambodian building industry, they showed great interest in CABE’s high standards, professional focus, and diverse exhibits. They pledged to organize delegations and mobilize related upstream and downstream companies to attend the event. This successful mission secures a strong pipeline of international buyers and trade visitors for the upcoming expo, scheduled for December 2-4.
First Stop: Fire Prevention, Extinguishing, and Rescue Department of National Police of the Kingdom of Cambodia
On the morning of October 3, the Organizing Committee of CABE met with H.E. Net Vantha, Director-General of Fire Prevention, Extinguishing, and Rescue Department of the National Police of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and other officials. The meeting focused on fireproof doors and windows. The Organizing Committee of CABE introduced the latest developments and advanced technologies in China’s door and window industry, which garnered strong interest from H.E. Net Vantha. He inquired in detail about the application of these technologies in real-world firefighting scenarios, provided an overview of the building fire protection standards and practices in Cambodia, and highlighted the demand for introducing advanced fireproof doors and windows. He responded as follows:
- He stated the intention to organize a delegation to attend CABE 2025 for a firsthand inspection of the fireproof doors and windows. He also plans to leverage the CABE platform to promote exchanges and cooperation between the Cambodian and Chinese buildingsectors, and acquire advanced technologies to elevate the fire safety standardsand practices of Cambodia.
- He will invite Director General of the General Department of Construction of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and Headof the Department of Constructionof Phnom Penh, along with officials overseeing the building sector, to jointly participate in CABE 2025.
- He will invite heads of Cambodian industrial parks and representatives from the entire buildingindustry chain (including real estate developers, design agencies, and interior fit-out companies) to participate in CABE 2025. Hepledged to mobilize three of Cambodia’s leading real estate development groups—Chip Mong, Peng Huoth, and Piphup Thmey Group— to attend the event.
- He will disseminate the CABE information to the secretariats of various Cambodian building industry associations for review by their respective presidents, to drive attendance from a wider network of relevant departments and professionals across the country.


Second Stop: The China Hong Kong & Macau Business Association of Cambodia, Hong Kong Business Association of Cambodia
On the afternoon of October 3, the Organizing Committee of CABE met with The China Hong Kong & Macau Business Association of Cambodia and Hong Kong Business Association of Cambodia. The China Hong Kong & Macau Business Association of Cambodia (the “Association”) was established in 1998 with the support of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia and the approval of relevant Cambodian authorities. The Association boasts over 130 corporate members employing approximately 200,000 people and operating across garment & textile, finance, pharmaceuticals, shipping, and real estate development. The meeting was attended by Executive Vice President and Secretary-General Lin Zhiqiang, Deputy Secretary-General Li Song, and Deputy Secretary-General Pan Ganwu of the Association. Both parties held discussions regarding the business environment of Cambodia’s building industry. The Organizing Committee of CABE provided an introduction to the upcoming expo, while Mr. Lin Zhiqiang offered a comprehensive overview of the Association and the current status of Cambodia’s building sector. He noted that Cambodia’s building industry is still in a nascent stage of development but presents a compelling investment landscape. He encouraged more enterprises to choose Cambodia as a destination for overseas expansion. He responded as follows:
- As anindustryassociation overseen by the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia, the Association pledged to dispatch a delegation led by the Association’s leadership to CABE 2025.
- He will deliver a dedicated presentation at the Council meeting tomobilize relevant corporate members to participate in the expo.
- He will leverage the official endorsementof the Associationto mobilize Cambodian building industry associations (such as the Cambodia Constructors Association) to galvanize the participation of their member enterprises in the event.


Third Stop: HOUT CHEA GROUP
On the afternoon of October 6, the Organizing Committee of CABE paid a visit to Hout Chea Group, Cambodia. The delegation was received by a team led by Duke Hout Chea, President of the Cambodia Constructors Association and Chairman of Hout Chea Group. The Organizing Committee of CABE provided a specialized presentation on the upcoming expo and the eight major industries of Yongkang, Zhejiang, China. In response, Duke Hout Chea stated that as a major Cambodian conglomerate operating over 40 large building materials stores with businesses spanning construction engineering, building materials, and design, Hout Chea Group procures more than five container loads of diverse products monthly. He emphasized substantial demand for building products and machinery, particularly doors, windows, steel structures, and hardware components. He highlighted the urgent need to partner with Chinese enterprises to localize production, thereby reducing logistics costs, enhancing product competitiveness, and more effectively developing the domestic market. He responded as follows:
- He pledged tolead a delegation to the expowith the aim of seeking out qualified partners and sourcing relevant products.
- He acknowledged the highly specialized nature of the upcoming expo and confirmed his company’s participation. He plans to leverage the CABE platform to reach out to China and other ASEAN nations, foster partnerships, andbolsterthe development of Cambodia’s building industry.
- He will leverage his role as President of the Cambodia Constructors Association and his status as a Duke to mobilize Cambodian buildingindustry associations, institutions, and upstream/downstream enterprises to send a delegation tothe expo.
