The Presentation of China's Building Materials (Products and Machinery) Industry for ASEAN was held at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center in Nanning on the afternoon of September 17, which coincided with the opening of the 22^nd China-ASEAN Expo.

This presentation focused on the core theme of collaborative development of the building materials industry in China and ASEAN, and drew a large number of guests including government officials from ASEAN countries, representatives of business associations, industrial park representatives, industry and enterprise representatives, and senior experts from design institutes. Participants exchanged ideas and discussed new opportunities for cooperation between China and ASEAN in the building materials industry, giving a strong impetus to cooperation in the building materials sector.

This presentation, with the theme of "Cooperation with ASEAN for A Better Building Materials Industry", acted as an important platform for China-ASEAN economic and trade cooperation. By capitalizing on Guangxi's role as a bridgehead, it acted as a liaison between China's building materials products and construction machinery and the ASEAN market.

The event's organizers, the China Construction Metal Structure Association and the ‌Guangxi Construction Industry Association, expressed that China and ASEAN are highly complementary for the demand for construction products, with great potential for cooperation. This is an extension of the guiding principles of the ASEAN-China Ministerial Roundtable on Construction. The hosting of this presentation sets the stage for the China (Guangxi)-ASEAN International Building Products and Machinery Expo that is slated to be held at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center from December 2 to 4, 2025.
